A VERY HEARTFELT THANK YOU, TO, SAYMME, FOR SPONSORING MY GRANDFATHERS PAGE. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!

My grandfather was born to Frank and Francesca Alouisa, on November 21, 1915. He was raised in Emlenton, Pennsylvania. He entered the U.S. Military, Army branch when he was a young man. This being where his last name was changed by an officer enlisting him, the officer had trouble spelling paps last name, probably because my grandfather spoke very poor English (Italian was his first language). He fought in World War II, and was awarded the Purple Heart, among others. He returned from the war and was discharged in Canton, Ohio. While still enlisted he was stationed in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. It was on a weekend pass when he traveled to Canada, and met and fell in love with Grandma, Margaret K. W. Martineau. They were married on January 7, 1943. Together they raised 2 children, Linda Jo of Follansbee, West Virginia, and George Frances, of, St. Cloud, Minnesota. He retired from Algoma Steel Mill in Canada and The City of Follansbee in West Virginia. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and truly was one with the outdoors. Grandpap spent a lot of time with my dad, his Son In-Law, Clifford Bennett they were best friends from hunting and fishing to a construction business they even ventured into for a short time. Even just going for rides, and out visiting other buddies they spent a great deal of time just being together. He belonged to many clubs and organizations, but, the Burgettstown Italian Club and the V.F.W. were by far the favorite choices for him. He had 2 grandchildren whom he adored and loved very much, Andrea and Bridget. He is survived by his wife Margaret, both children Linda and George, his grandaughter Andrea Huggins and her fiance Edward W. Pethtel Jr., grandaughter Bridget and husband John A. Weaver, and two great-grandaughters, Jenna and Kayla Weaver. Mr. Louese has two sisters in Emlenton, Pennsylvania; Jennie and Winnie, also one brother survives in Florida, Sam Louise. He was preceeded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Tony, Jim, Fritz, and one sister, Anne Louese, and two grandsons Buddy Bennett and Michael Huggins.
