Dermatologist. Well known Atlanta dermatologist with a breadth of expertise in skin care maintenance and beauty, who formulated skin and hair care products.

Wilborn received his B. S. in Chemistry from South Carolina State College in Orangeburg, SC in 1959. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville in 1963. After serving an internship at Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis, Wilborn spent two years as a general medical officer and chief of Ancillary Services in the United States Air Force, in Topeka, Ks.

In 1976, Wilborn served as president of the Atlanta Medical Association. The following year, he served as chairman of the Board. Wilborn was an Emeritus member of the National Medical Association and an honorary member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He was certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and associate clinical professor of Dermatology at the Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta.

From 1990-2000, Wilborn was a Dermatology caption agent for United Health Care of Georgia, responsible for administering all dermatology claims and overseeing dermatology panel. He served as vice president and medical director of the Georgia Dermatologist Network from 1994-2003. This group functions as an administrator for Dermatologic services for managed care organizations. He belonged to numerous, local, state, regional and national medical associations. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Wilborn was the first Black physician to become a member of the Atlanta Dermatological Association. He was also the first Black physician to serve as President of that organization. In 2008, Wilborn received the Nash Carter Award from the Atlanta Medical Association.

In January 2013, Wilborn was awarded for 50 years of service from the Atlanta Medical Association. He passed way from complications of heart failure at age 75.
