Beloved wife of Fate Harper (Lenzy Lafayette), she was the daughter of William Weeks and Mary P. Summers, born in Georgia. Lou Emma was the mother of ten children, the last dying shortly before she did. Her toddler died of measles and pneumonia, and Lou Emma died of influenza and pnuemonia. Fate never remarried and loved her to his dying day. Fate wanted to be buried next to her, but there wasn't room. This is the only picture of her we have been able to find.
