Wentzel died as he road the four wheeler at approximately 5:40 p.m. Saturday. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) indicated Wentzel had been traveling south of Farm Road 3427 when he turned right unto County Road 1035 about 9 miles north of Greenville.
Wentzel was reported to have lost control of the vehicle, which then hit a tree.
Wentzel was transported to Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville where he was pronounced dead at 8:40 p.m. Saturday.

Robert was a wonderful young man. He loved his family. Robert had a dream to go to college and start a business with his best friend, whom he thought of as a brother, Aaron.
Robert had the business part and Aaron the graphic art. Robert thought the best way to achieve this after graduation was to go to the military. Unfortunately, this would not happen. Robert was killed in a tragic four wheeler accident, and his organs were donated so that others may have a chance for life. (bio by: Mad)
