Mrs. Kim Renee Williams Bellamy, the first daughter of Rev. John Sherman Williams, Sr., who preceded her in death, and Janice D. Harrington Williams was born August 15, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kim attended Woodall Wilson School #75 and George Washington High School. She also attended Indiana Business College in Indianapolis.

Kim was baptized at First Samuel Missionary Baptist Church as a young girl under the pastorate of the late Rev. James Jimmy Smith.

At the age of eleven, Kim sat down at her mothers piano and played so beautiful without a lesson; her mother hearing her realized the gift that God had placed within her. Her mother enrolled her in Lucille Crawford piano school, later she enrolled in the Jordan College of Music to further her musical education. After which she became the minister of music at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church and First Samuel Missionary Baptist Church.

In 1986, Kim moved her membership to Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church. There she became the Musician and Director of the Choir. During her membership there she was introduced to her soul mate, the handsome Howard Bellamy, by the Holy Spirit.

On April 18, 1987 Kim was united in Holy Matrimony to Howard Bellamy, Jr. To this union was born two children, Ashlee L. and Joshua L. Bellamy.

Kim also was the Minister of Music for various churches, conventions and other ministries throughout the city and her husband was the drummer.

In 2007, she became the music teacher for Horizon Christian School. She retired in May of 2007.
Kim was the Minister of Music at Trinity Baptist Church. It was there she had been a member for the past four years.

Kim was the proprietor of her own business where she gave piano lessons in her home. Lead by God, she named her ministry to teach, Music for the Master Ministry.

Mrs. Kim Renee Williams Bellamy departed this life on Monday, January 7, 2008 at the age of fifty years four months and twenty-three days.

She is survived by her husband, Howard L. Bellamy, Jr.; children, Ashlee L., Joshua L., Howard L. Bellamy, III (Shauna) and Ernest M. Miller; mother, Janice D. Williams; sister, Dorla V. Williams; brother, John S. Williams, Jr., (Gabrielle); grandmother, Agnes L. Taylor; mother-in-law, Naomi Billingsley (Major); sister-in-law, Yolanda Pontis, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
