This is my last, and most precious sister.
Judy was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer on February 19, 2008. She had 20 radiation treatments and 3 Chemo treatments and this was simply more than her already fragile body could handle.

Judith Elaine Johnson McCormick 58, passed away on April 12, 2008 at Methodist Hospital. She was a resident of Indianapolis. She was born on January 1, 1950 in Indianapolis, to Wilbur and Audrey (Romines) Johnson. They precede her in death. She married Clinton McCormick on February 14, 1979. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Kristopher McCormick; three step-sons, Clinton McCormick III, Michael McCormick, and Jonathan McCormick; one sister, Sandra Edwards; and one grandchild. She is preceded by one sister. Judith was employed at Walgreens-Tucker Pharmacy as a pharmacy cashier. She retired from American States Insurance Company in 1981 where she worked as an underwriter for 20 years. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Chapel of the Chimes, 1234 Prospect Street. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2:00–4:00 p.m. or 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6030 W. 62nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46278

I love you so very, very, much my sweetest sister, and I'll miss you more with every passing second. The only comfort I have right now is in knowing you are in the presence of our Lord, along with Mom and Betty, where you have really wanted to be since Momma left this earth.
Thank you with all my heart for being by my side no matter what, for loving me regardless of all my faults, for laughing at all the things that made me laugh, and for having a broken heart at all the things that broke mine. You are the best sister anyone could want and I truly couldn't have asked God for more.
Please kiss our loved ones for me and tell them to keep their eye toward the gate, because someday I'll get to cross whatever bridge it takes and I know when I do, I'll see you there.

Angel Day...
Today is your Angel Day, that's what we say.
It means here on earth you were taken away.
Away to a place filled with God's perfect love.
Away to place that lies somewhere above.
It's above all we see, and above what we hear.
It's a place where we hope to find all who are dear.
There are Grandmas and Grandpas, Uncles and Aunts.
There's a multitude of people who have entered the dance.
They're dancing on streets that are made of pure gold,
And each has a story that often was told.
A story of how they met Jesus on earth.
And the road that they traveled to get there from birth.
A road filled with mountains that had to be climbed.
A road filled with trials until peace they could find.
Peace that abounds in the Heavens above.
And peace that is found in the midst of Gods love.
Peace that will sweep over all of our cares,
And wipe every tear from our eyes over there.
So rest my sweet sister in God's perfect love.
And dance on His streets with our family above.
Then someday I hope when my journey is through,
I'll dance on those streets in God's Kingdom with you...
