Dwight Jay Schaff was the only child of Lawrence & Mary (Hadden) Schaff. Grandson of Frank & Mae (Boughton) Hadden and Peter & Anna (Mamer) Schaff. He married Rosalie Gramacki on July 09, 1976 in Standish, MI. They had 1 daughter, Audrey Rose. Son in law of Joseph & Evelyn Gramacki. Brother-in-Law of Anna Marie Horen, JoAnn & Bill Klinger and Joel Gramacki. Dear Uncle of Kristopher Klinger, Justin and Ashley Horen.
Dwight was a resident of Alger, MI for 20 years. He served on the Moffatt Township Board for 20 years and was running unopposed for Supervisor at the time of his death. He loved to play golf, go fishing and watch the Detroit Red Wings & Detroit Tigers. One of his favorite singers was Mariah Carey. He also enjoyed working on the Family Tree. I hope that he would be so proud of all the work I have continued in his absence. I know he would get a kick out of this site.
Dwight passed away due to injuries he received from an auto accident.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Rosalie, daughter; Audrey, grandsons; Owen & Evan Oehring and granddaughter; Reese Payea.
