Our Mother was a divorced, single parent and did the best she could. She was a lover of nature and would often take my brother and I for nature hikes growing up. She taught us to never litter, if we threw anything from our car window she would stop the car for us to, "go pick it up." She was witty and enjoyed a good joke. Always a good person, she found the Lord after her brother Lon passed away in 1989.

In 1996 she was diagnosed stage 3, Cervical Cancer; she was expected to pass within the year. Because she never drank nor smoked the doctors were able to treat the cancer agressivley. After being diagnosed, our Mother commited herself to eating and clothing herself as naturally as she could. She also took an interest in basic yoga.

Our Mother never passed up an opportunity to tell her family how proud she was of us. She enjoyed the company of her grandchildren and was very close to her own Mother.

She had a talent for sketching and interior decorating. She saw the beauty and good in everyone and never turned anyone away who needed help.

She is sadly missed and is in our thoughts everyday. She was looking forward to meeting our Lord, her family passed and George Harrison
.

She was preceded in death by her father; her stepfather, Paul Reidy
; and two brothers, Lawrence Taylor and Jack LaBelle
