Our Dad was married to Bonnie Jean Ewing (1940-1994) on June 22, 1957.
They had 3 children: Evelyn, Robert and Liane -
5 grandchildren: Mike, Eddie, Matt, Eric, and Brandy.
They also have 1 great grandchild, Tristan, whom they never had a chance to meet.

Our Dad was the son of the late Loil Klingensmith and Helen (Easley) Kmonk and step son of the late Stanley Kmonk of Plum Boro.

He was a retired Marine Corp Captain with 20 years service and two tours of Vietnam. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Rifle Expert Badge and Pistol Expert Badge.

He was proud to be a Marine and enjoyed Japanese water gardens, line dancing at the senior center, working with wood and wood tools, and doing crossword puzzles. He was the smartest man I have ever met.

Our Dad passed away peacefully at home.
We all miss him and love him very much.

Thank you to everyone for leaving such beautiful notes for our Dad. You will never know how much your kind words have touched our hearts. Thank you.
