NATCHEZ - Services for Mary Jane Stammreich, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stammreich was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Adams County, the daughter of Nathaniel and Martha Jane Arnold Merritt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Kmeil Stroud, Dona Mae Lee, Marjorie's twin and Novle Cook; and three brothers, C. W., Roy and Finton Merritt.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, one son, two sisters, Martha Dell Fowler of Central, La. and Marjorie Merritt of Natchez; four grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Audley Stammreich of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
