Oscar Freeman Sandstrom, age 77, of Madison, formerly of Reedsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2015. He was born on September 13, 1937, in Superior, Wisconsin, the son of Oscar Freeman and Marjorie “Pat” (Smith) Sandstrom Sr. On November 9, 1957, Oscar was united in marriage to Kay E. Westby in Superior. This marriage was blessed with two children.
Oscar was an avid outdoorsman and was very active in the hobbies and interests of his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Randy Paul in infancy.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Kay of Madison;
Son, David (Rita) Sandstrom of Reedsburg;
Grandsons, Jordan and Cody Sandstrom;
Sister, Marjorie Hessel of Plymouth, MN;
Brothers and sisters-in-law, Judy (Jim) Beebe of Superior,

Dr. Paul Westby of Fridley, MN; along with other family and friends.
