Naman Cecil McCane ,86 of the Golden Living Center in Vanceburg Ky., died Tuesday Sept.11 2007.

He was surrounded by his children, Rosemary, Naomi Faye, Brenda Kay, Cecil Ray, John Kennedy, Dallas Lynn, Regina Faith, Roger Duane.

He was preceded in death by his father Henry Scott.

Mother Ermal Josephine Kennedy.

Older brother Russell Jude memorial 60623435.

Wife Margrett Louise Penrod.

And sons Larry Eugene and Eric Thomas.


His second marriage to Wilma Jane Lawson Adkins Johnson ended in divorce and shortly after she died in 1980,

Naman was from a large family of 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

He lived his whole life in Lewis County, seldom would he leave and when he did he never stayed away for very long.

When he was 21 he joined the army Aug.18 1942. He participated in most of the major battles in Europe.He was honorably discharged on 24th of Nov. 1945.

He held various jobs the first at a feed store,a brick layer.


You can shed tears that he is gone,
or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all he's left.





I would like to thank all the nice people for the flowers and notes they leave for my father. I read them all and they bring me comfort and I'm sure Dad would like it.
