Gladys the daughter of John and Elizabeth Jane Zeigler was married to Paul S. Smith in 1919. She raised and put through college three children while working at Calvert's Dept store. Her daughter Joanita (Smith) Hart of Burbank California died June 1969 at a young age of 48. Gladys is survived by a daughter Allein (Smith) Davis of Emporia Kansas and a son E. Dale Smith of Wichita Kansas. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
