My paternal grandfather Arthur Dalgleish was born in Rhymney, Monmouthshire, Wales, youngest child of 6 born to Thomas Dalgleish and Mary Jane Crocker Dalgleish. He was orphaned at the young age of 6 months. In 1911 Arthur was brought to the USA by his two older brothers Archibald & Edwin. They all settled in So. Calif. In 1915 Arthur met his future bride, Ida Mathilde Antonie "Tonie" Luley, born in Frankfurt, Germany. She had immigrated with her family in 1900. They married in 1917 in San Bernardino, CA. To this union were born 5 children: Verna, Arthur E., Jean, Milton,& Marilyn. My father is Arthur E.
