Mildred Ellen (Came) Sigler was born the eighth of nine children to Henry and Elizabeth (Perrin) Came. She grew up and was married to Bartlett Woods Sigler in Knightsville, Clay County, Indiana. They lived in Jasper County, Indiana and their children were born there. They moved to Arkansas City, Cowley County, Kansas, where her husband eventually died. She moved to Los Angeles, California with her daughter, Berniece & Ramy Grisham and their two daughters about 1940-1941. In 1947 they moved to Lawndale, Los Angeles County, California. She lived there the rest of her life, just going to the hospital in Torrance, Los Angeles County, California where she died.
Mildred was a fine person, very good hearted and taught her grandaughter many homemaking skills. She was loved.
