Father of Utah Court Justice Dies at Age 89
Frederic A. Henriod, 89, 228 S. 3rd East, died early Friday morning at his residence of causes incident to age.
He was the father of F. Henri Henriod, Utah Supreme Court Justice.
Mr. Henriod was born in American Fork on September 29, 1865, a son of Eugene A. and Mary Mallett Henriod. On June 4, 1901, he married Selena Greenwood in Provo.
He was a merchant, grocery-man and at one time held mining interests. He had been the manager of men's furnishings at Auerbach's and Keith O'Brien stores. Several years ago he retired because of poor health.
Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mary H. Walker, Stockton, Calif.; one son, Jusice Henriod, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be announced from 36 E. 7th South.
