Rose Barbara was the daughter of Elizabeth Zimmer-Zirkelbach and Andrew Zirkelbach. Rose married George Mather and they had six children; Fred, Inez, Lawrence, Marguerite, Minnie and Isabel. They are all buried in the Canisteo Cemetery.
