Farmer and Shoemaker. Aged 65y 10m. Son of Henry and Mary Magdalene (Leffler) Weller, Jr. Married(1) Sarah Longstreth on 14 Jun 1838 in Morgan County, OH. Father of Anna E. b. 17 Mar 1839, Rachel b. 11 Jan 1841, William Joseph b. 26 Feb 1844, Sarah J. b. 30 Sep 1845, Lydia Ann b. 18 Apr 1848, Martha Hellen b. 30 Nov 1850, Franklin Pierce b. 10 Jun 1853, Almeda F. b. 30 Aug 1855, Samuel A. b. 26 Jan 1858 and Amy Elizabeth b. 22 Feb 1861.
Married(2) Elizabeth Swingle 9 Dec 1871 in Morgan County, OH. No Children.
Became a Mason in Malta Lodge No. 145, F. & A. M. of Malta, Ohio. Later became a charter member of Doric Lodge No. 172, F. & A. M. of Deavertown, Ohio. Re-affiliated with Malta Lodge (now Valley Lodge) No. 145, F. & A. M. of Malta, Ohio.

WELLER
At his late residence in Stovertown, Muskingum county, Jan. 15, 1882, in his 67th year of his age, Adam Weller.
For many years he had been a great sufferer from lung disease, which finally caused his death.
In early life he connected himself with the Lutheran church, and continued faithful unto the end.
He was the father of the Misses Weller of this place.
