Jack Madison 86 of Russellville, died Saturday, Feb. 14, at Dardanelle Rehabilitation Center. He was born Oct. 10 1917, at Carden Bottoms Arkansas, son of the late Bill Jack and Addie Mae (Outlaw) Madison and a retired sheet metal engineering assisstant for Garett Corp. at Los Angeles, Calif. He was an Army Veteran, a life member and past commander of Rogers-Rye Post 2283 of Veterans of Foreign Wars, a life member of Military Order of the Cooties, and a member of Russellville Eagles Lodge 3928.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara (New) Madison; a son Jack Madison; three brothers, Buck Madison, J.B. Madison,George Will Madison, and a sister Ellen Leslie.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Thien of Russellville, Dorothy Walker of Gumlog, and Sharron Hill of Tarzana, Calif.; a sister, Wanda Apple of Dardanelle; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grand children. Jack and Clara was married April 8, 1943 in Seattle Washington.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle by the Rev. Wayne Bookout. Burial with military honors by Rogers-Rye Post 2283 of Veterans of Foreign Wars will be in Boogers Hollow Cemetery north of Dover. Cremation arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Service of Dardanelle.

I thought of you with LOVE today, but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
