Keith Martin Blackwell 1938-2010

Signed up for a new adventure and left on Aug. 29, 2010 at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 3 days.

Hard working: a stagehand with the IATSE Local 127 in Dallas
A talented man who could do anything and everything: electrician, plumber, carpenter, welder, locksmith, fixer-of-anything/problem solver

Hard playing: a Quiet Man Alumnus, dart player, supreme barstool racer, motorcycle rider, camper extraordonaire, friend to all animals

Served in the US Air Force as a jet mechanic/fire fighter 1954-1958.
Worked in the tool and die crib in the Ford Motor Plant in Chicago, made garden statuary and swamp coolers in Phoenix, then moved to Dallas, Texas where he found "home".

Predeceased by his parents Norman and Frances, son Scott.
Survived by first wife Jeanne, second wife Ruth, son Kevin (Judy), daughter Courtney (Floyd), grandchildren: Alicen, Cassi and Samantha; cousins: Jack (Donna) Allord, Margo (Bob) Kreger, Jay (LaVonne) Allord, and Lyn Dailey; sister-in-law Cindy Ferguson.

His wish was to have his body donated for medical research/to have no funeral. Instead, raise a glass of your favorite brew and think of him, preferably kindly.
