My Dad was born June 14, 1958 to Betty Perkins and Curtis Beatty in Loma Linda, California. In 1961 he moved with his family to Livingston, where he attended school. After obtaining his diploma, he became an ASE certified mechanic. He worked at various jobs, including mechanic, tow truck operator, seismographer, and drywall installer. He enjoyed stock car racing at the former Hub of the Valley Speedway, in Belgrade, MT., as well as boating, camping, and working on his many cars.

Dad was a very caring and unselfish person, frequently giving of his time and resources to help others. After losing his home, all of his possessions, and a dear friend John Paul in a fire in 2003, he continued to give and to help others as he was able. Dad passed away on December 21, 2004 in Pray Montana, in a tragic car accident.

Dad has been remembered for his wonderful smile, his awesome blue eyes, and his great sense of humor. He loved his family and especially adored his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by a daughter, two step-daughters, five grandchildren, his mother, brother, and sister.

*A Tribute to my Dad

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
