Cordelia "Delia" Bright Harper, 79, of Twin Falls, died Saturday, May 12, 1990, at the Magic Valley Regional Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 29, 1910, in Teton, Idaho, the daughter of John Monroe Bright and Amy Maria Johnson Bright. She spent her early childhood in Teton and then moved to Richmond, Utah for a few years. The family then moved to Rigby in 1922 where they engaged in farming.

She graduated from Rigby High School in 1929 and later married Murray Charles Harper on Feb. 1, 1933, in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. After their marriage they lived in Arizona and California during World War II and then moved back to Rigby in 1946, where they farmed for several years.

They moved to Washington in 1954, where they lived in Seattle and then Moses Lake. They moved to Lewiston in 1965, where they owned and operated the Lewiston Laundromat until their retirement in 1983. They then moved to Twin Falls.

She was an active member of the 13th Ward LDS Church and was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Surviving are her husband of Twin Falls; two sons, Murray Duane (Jean) Harper of Rigby, and Michael C (Brenda) Harper of Boise. Two daughters, Sunda H. (Jerry) Holman of Twin Falls and Roeann Harper of Mesa, Ariz; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was proceeded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the 13th Ward LDS Chapel on Maurice St. in Twin Falls, with Bishop Dale Davis officiating. Burial will be Wednesday at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the funeral at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of White Mortuary of Twin Falls.
