Clarence Meece Jr., 47, of, Nicholasville, died suddenly Tuesday, June 21, in an automobile accident, with his nephew Donnie Phillips, and a friend, Essie Miller.
Clarence was born June 9, 1942, in Pulaski County, the son of Sallie Haney Meece, Somerset, and the late Clarence R Meece. He was a disabled drywall employee and a member of East Hickman Baptist Church, Nicholasville.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice, three sons, two daughters, three brothers, a sister, and ten grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Meece, three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Meece, Jessie Ann Meece and Edna Phillips; two brothers, James Alex Meece and Albert Lee Meece; and his nephew, Donald Lee Phillips.
Joint services with Donald Phillips were held, and burial was in the Meece Cemetery.
