Mrs. Mary Rust, Well-Known From Long Residence in Hastings, Dies At Home Of Son in St. Paul - Infirmities of age brought about the death of a former well-known Hastings lady Saturday, May 1, 1926, when Mrs. Mary Rust, aged 84, died at the home of her son, Clarence Rust, in St. Paul. She had been ailing for a long period and in recent months had been constantly under the care of a trained nurse.

The funeral services were held in St. Paul Tuesday and the body was brought to Hastings for interment at Lakeside Cemetery later in the day.

Mrs. Rust is survived by one son only. She has made her home with him for the past twenty years, moving to St. Paul shortly after the death of Mr. Rust, prior to which the couple had made their home in Hastings for many years.

Mrs. Rust was exceptionally active in religious work and in the activities of the Women's Christian Temperance Union with which she had long been associated. During her residence in Hastings, Mrs. Rust was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
