She was originally from Edna, Texas. She married John Cobb apparently in 1943 and lived in Houston, Texas. She had 2 sons and a daughter, Patricia, Raymond and John. She passed away after a courageous six month battle with cancer of the uterus. She won a free drawing from a new bank that was opening in Houston before she got cancer. There were 6 prizes and her name was drawn first. She chose a night on the town (Houston) in a chauffeured limousine!
