Yvonne was born in Sydney, NSW in 1944, the daughter of Dawn Mary and Julius Cayeaux. She had three older sisters, Lorraine, Wanda (died: June 2008) and Jill, and a younger sister, Pauline. She also had a brother, John, but he passed away while still an infant eight years before my mother was born.
Yvonne married Raymond Devitt (b.1944) on 22/2/1965, the day after her 21st birthday. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1979. Yvonne left behind three daughters, Kerrie (b.1966), Lee (b.1970) and Patricia (b.1973).
Yvonne was only 39 when she passed away, so young, but she touched the lives of her friends and family. She is remembered with much love. If mum was still with us today she would be the proud nanna of six beautiful children, Vincent, Laura, Nicola, Luke, Claudia and Alicia. Rest in Peace mum we think of you every day.

My mum loved the colour green, Dolly Parton, playing the spoons (it was her party trick!), showing her golden retrievers, and making people laugh. She was small in stature but had a big personality.

Cause of death: suicide
