Natasha Delyne Eddie.
Special Father to "Tori".
Friends called him "Jim", but family members always called him "Howard" Reason for him, switching to "Jim", is because he hated the southern drawl Grandma (his Mom) always had, when she called his name, sounded like "How'rd". He wanted to rise above the poverty state we grew up in,(and he did.)
That's, not to say, he was ashamed of his family- he was not, and he showed it, in many ways, thoughout the years.
Uncle Howard was in the army 1966-68. He served his time in the Vietnam war.
He loved children. He was going to adopt a little Vietnamese girl (she was about 5) Had taken care of all the "red tape" and was going to ship her "home, to USA" the next day, when a bomb was thrown in the tent, she lived in. This little girl. died in my uncle's arms. I have no idea what her name was, (I was only 12 when this happened in Vietnam)- but, I would like to make this a page, for my Uncle, and this little girl, I will call her "Tori"

When Uncle Howard got out of the service, he became a cop in West Memphis, Ark. He later owned his own construction company. He married, they were never able to have children of thier own, but, did, adopt Natasha when she was only a few days old.
What I remember most about Uncle Howard, is that he truley loved chilren, more than any man, I've ever met, I believe.
He always was a very good looking man, I remember, back in the 60's- we all lived with Uncle Bllly, and, many nights, we'd be woke up by girl's, literally climbing through the windows, trying to get to Uncle Howard.
Oh- and he was like Jessie on "Full House" - better not touch his hair!!! Also, like Jessie, and my Mom (his sister) he loved Elvis! He had some kind of tie with Elvis, that I never understood, all I know for sure, is, he called my Mom and told her of his death, before it hit the media.
