Troy was a 1993 graduate of Zanesville High School. He was currently enrolled at Muskingum Area Technical College. The most important things in his life were his family and friends. Troy was an avid sports fan and was a beloved coach to all of the kids who participated in Muskingum Biddy League Football. He was also a Gus Macker volunteer and loved Buckeye football!

Beisser; a stepsister, Sabrina Dawn Hickman; his grandmother, Peggy Bagley; his stepgrandmother, Hazel Cornell; several aunts and uncles, Jim and Kelley Settles, Terry Beisser and Patzy Tucker, Bev Rider, Mike and Kim Schramm, Dennis and Terri Roehrig and Cindy Luburgh; a niece, Cassidy Beisser; nephews, Zack and Eric Bunting; and cousins, Jenni and Jason, Ashley and Kris, J.P. and Cameron, Clayton, Craig and Kathleen, Mellony and Chad, Amber and Shawn; and a special friend, Kristen Hennessey.
