Born on December 3rd 1904 in Fillmore, Iowa, Michael Xavier Urbain was one of the greatest men in Iowa. A father of 7 children, husband of 49 years to Edna(Boge), and a grandfather of 28.

Michael lived his life farming and emulating the true love of Christ; raising cattle and corn to feed the community, and lending his carpentry skills to build homes, barns, and churches.

Michael lost his wife Edna to cancer April of 1985, and the years after, Michael built numerous grandfather clocks with immense detail.

He was surrounded by his sons and daughters when he left us to be with Edna, his son Joe, and first grandson Kevin in February of 1997.
