Erma Amanda Minnick-Jackson was the 2nd child of Roy and May Minnick. Her siblings were Roy,Jr., William Turner, George Franklin, Edward Petch and Sandra. Erma married Thomas William Jackson on May 25th, 1938 and they had 5 sons, Thomas Wayne (9/21/1940), Richard Lester (9/21/1942), Barry Allen (4/19/1947), Robert Roy (9/9/1951) and Glen David (9/20/1952). Her grandchildren were Tom, Terry, Michelle, David, Keith, Kimberly, Tracy and Troy. She also had 19 great grandchildren.
The thing I remember most about my mother was her outgoing personality and her wonderful sense of humor. She always could find a kind word to say about someone and made an effort to befriend those people who were less fortunate in life.
