PETER P. BAILEY, 77, of Haverhill died Monday at Hale Hospital. The husband of the late Katherine R. (nee Macioch) Bailey, he leaves his son, Dennis Bailey of Newton, N.H. Born in Grays Landing, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late George and Mary (nee Bilpach) Bailey. He was a graduate of Redstone High School, Republic, Pennsylvania. Mr. Bailey was a veteran of World War II having served as a technician, third grade, in the U.S. Army for three years. He had been a resident of Ohio and Pennsylvania until moving to Haverhill in 1997. Mr. Bailey had been employed at the Cleveland Pneumatic Tool Company, Cleveland, Ohio until his retirement. His funeral is Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the U.S. Veterans National Cemetery, Bourne.
