Maxie lived in Amelia, Virginia, with his mother, Christy Lagourney Young, younger brother Robert Young, and Grandma Julie and Grandpa Chris, and his two dogs. Maxie was a fifth grade student at the Amelia County Elementary School. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Anna Young of Italy, Texas.

Love you, Maxie. Rest well, sweetheart.
