Wife, mother, grandmother and retired music teacher from the Atlanta Public Schools System. She taught for many years at Atlanta's T.H. Slater Elementary school. As a teacher she enjoyed instructing and encouraging her students. The Michigan native met her future husband while they both attended the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. They united in marriage in 1973. The couple had one adopted daughter. Anne passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2012. She is survived by her husband Lawrence S. Weaver, her daughter Lari Anne, her two grandchildren, two siblings and a host of family and friends.
