A Virtual Cemetery created by Stanley Weidenhammer

Weidenhammer 6th generation

All of the people in all my virtual cemeteries are related. The original family name was WeidenHAMMER. _ In german a letter with a line (M) above it meant 2 letters (MM). The colonies were English, so English was the language on official documents. So not knowing what the line above a letter meant they wrote WeidenHAMER. As to why some changed their name to WeidenHEIMER I have no idea. All I know it started with Jacob Glauser Weidenhammer 4th gen. One of his children changed to WeidenHEIMER. This line, of the family, exists to this day.
