A Virtual Cemetery created by in memory of grandma

Frank J Hawkins family

Frank Julius Hawkins was the son of Julius Jay Hawkins & his wife Sarah Belle Davis. (He was a brother to Kittie Hawkins (Maritn) who is my great grandmother.)Not all his children from his third marriage have been consolidated. So I figured that a virtual cemetery would be the appropriate place for his family. NOTE: It is a work in progress...

By his first wife, Jane Lake, he had two children: (in birth order)
1. Alda Frank Hawkins
2. Carrie Jane (Hawkins) O'Hara

By his second wife, Alta Chapman, he had one child:
1. Leo Roscoe Hawkins

By his third wife, Sarah Margret "Sadie" Crowley he had serveral children:

1. Henry Jay Hawkins
Notes from Mary Jane:born 19 Feb 1883 in Hutchinson, Reno County,Kansas; died 24 Oct 1942 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.Notes: Hutchinson News, Hutchinson, KS, Monday, 26 Oct. 1942, pg.6, col. 5 Funeral Service for Henry J. Hawkins of Fort Worth, Tex.,formerly of Hutchinson, was held at Fort Worth this afternoon. Hewas killed in a railroad accident Saturday. Mr. Hawkins was born inHutchinson February 19, 1883, and spent his boyhood here and atPartridge. Survivors are his wife, his sisters, Mrs. Lee Hall, 704East B., who attended the funeral; Mrs. Nellie Salee, Denver; Mrs.Mabel Kelly, Las Vegas, N.M.; Mrs. L. B. Marsh, Wichita and Mrs.Hugh O'Hara, Nickerson, and his brothers, A.F. Hawkins,Albuquerque, N.M.; W.B. Hawkins, 740 East B, and Frank E.Hawkins, 704 East B.
Note from Maxie: She stated that Henry was deaf.

2. William Boyd Hawkins
3. Hazel M (Hawkins) Hall
4. Frank Earl Hawkins
5. Nellie Ellen/Ellen Mary Belle Hawkins Sallee (Denver)
6. Mabel E (Hawkins) Kelley (Los Angeles)
7. Emma Ruth (Hawkins) Frederick Marsh
8. baby twin of Emma's

Notes from Maxie: I have not been able to find but 2 children from Frank J's 3rd family as well. George Hall belongs to Hazel and unless we have missed something, Mrs Burt English must be Emma's daughter by her first marriage – Betty Frederick (abt 1918). I have finally located SSDI records for a Burt W English 13 May 1915 – 25 May 1993, Redlands, San Bernardino, CA & a Betty F English 29 Nov 1917 – 18 Feb 1990, Redlands, San Bernardino, CA (both of their Social Security #s were issued in KS) – if not ‘our' Buret and his Mrs, it is quite a coincidence. I am unable to locate Emma and L B Marsh – maybe the 1940 Census with reveal one or both of them but I'm not hopefully. Unable to locate Mabel Kelly/Kelley and her Mr Kelly/Kelley. Also, I don't have a Dorothy Hawkins 1893-1967 as a daughter of Frank J.

I never knew that Alda Sr ever lived in NM...
