Originally known as the Millbrook Cemetery, Fairview Cemetery is located In Mercer County, PA in Worth Township on the south side of McCurdy Road; approximately 4/10th of a mile from the intersection of McCurdy Road and Route 173 (zip 43030). It is noted that from 1979 until 2011 this cemetery had been neglected, vandalized, and in very poor condition. In 2012 there has been a community effort to improve the condition of Fairview: brush removal, headstones up-righted, the fence-row cleared, and regular mowing. On July 8, 2012 I photographed every headstone available. I will return again in 2013 to review the headstones and photograph any additional that may have been found.
