William and Sarah Beacham of Tickenham, Somerset, England had the following children who were all baptized at St. Quiricus and St. Julietta Anglican Church: William Jr., Letitia Beacham Brint/Brent, Sophia Beacham Edgar, Joseph, James, Henry, John, Sarah J. Beacham Bearstler and Ann Beacham (died age 5 yrs. and buried at St. Quiricus and St. Julietta). All the children came to PA except Sophia, Henry and Ann. In June 1880, William Beacham Jr. left 1/3 of his estate after the death of his wife, Maria Lloyd Beacham (died 1883), to siblings. He had no apparent children. The siblings were: Letitia Beacham Brent (whom he lived next door to in 1860, Danville, Montour, PA), Joseph Beacham (Shenandoah, Schuylkill, PA), and Sarah Jane Beacham Bearstler. James Beacham was owed money.William Beacham arrived in Philadelphia, PA in 1839 from Liverpool, England on the ship Lucy Anne. Those with him were his mother, Sarah Beacham (born about 1784), John (Cameron) Beacham, Sarah Jane Beacham (Bearstler), and (Letitia) Jane Brent (daughter of Edward and Letitia Beacham Brent). Joseph Beacham arrived in New York 6 Sep 1832 on the ship Marion by himself about the age of 18. According to his obit he lived in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA from 1833 - 1834. In 1850 he is living in Schuylkill, Schuylkill, PA almost next door to his brother, John Cameron Beacham. One of Joseph's grandsons was General Joseph William Beacham Junior. General Beacham was President Eisenhower's football coach at West Point in 1911. Joseph William Beacham Sr. (son of Joseph Beacham and his wife Harriet) moved to Brooklyn, Kings, NY and was a book keeper for silverplater Rogers & Brother. John Cameron Beacham (arrived with William in 1839) had nephew, Edward Brent (son of Edward and Letitia Beacham Brent), living with him in 1860, Point, Northumberland, PA.
