Jamesville Gate Cemetery

"JAMESVILLE GATE CEMETERY" was the term used to describe multiple cemeteries (mostly Jewish) along a 1.2 mile stretch of Jamesville Avenue in Syracuse, NY. Regardless of the actual cemetery where the burial took place. Not until 1950 was there a differentiation made in local obituaries to name the actual cemetery.
