Funeral of Mrs. Jones to be held next Sunday.
Taken suddenly ill yesterday morning at an early hour, Mrs. Clarence Jones, succumbed to an attack from which she never rallied and passed into the Great Beyond at 3:15 in the afternoon at her home in North Clay Street. Only last Sunday Mrs. Jones suffered a similar attack, but recovered and was in her usual good health until Thursday morning and failed to regain consciousness. The end came peacefully.
The deceased was born in this city on October 24, 1876 and since 1890 had been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. April 12, 1899 she was married to Herbert J. Danall and for some time lived in Hillsdale, where her husband died. She again married and became the wife of Clarence Jones with whom she lived in Chicago for a few years before coming to this city.
Mrs. Jones, who was a most estimable lady is survived besides her husband by an aged mother, Mrs. Minnie Weiderman and three brothers; Ernest, Fred and John.
The funeral is on Sunday 2:00 from the house and at 2:30 from St. John's Lutheran Church, Rev. H.C. Richter officiating.
