Cladis I. Keller – Morse, 87 of Monroe died at 9:34 a.m. Friday at Mercy Memorial Hospital. She had been in poor health for six years.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday. Rev. Roy Southerland, pastor of the Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

Born July 25, 1925 in Tazewell, Tennessee she was the daughter of Sherman and Hattie (Treece) Cupp. She married Dewey Keller on December 9, 1939 he preceded her in death on May 20, 1972. She then married James K. Morse on November 29, 1974 he preceded her in death on December 30, 2010.

Cladis was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her children Ual (Charlotte) Keller of Monroe, Roy (Linda) Keller of Camdenton, Missouri, Shirley (Arthur) Gysin of Monroe, Bonnie (Lee) Tomkinson of Monroe and step daughter Sue Morse of Toledo; sisters, Ruth (Finley) Bunch of Monroe, Charlene (Von) Loop of Monroe, Lorene Dyer of Temperance, Jessie (Rick) DuBois of Tazewell and Betty (Craig) Alleman of Knoxville; sister-in-law Doris Price of Manton, Michigan; grandchildren Jerry (Sheri) Gysin, Renee (Robert) Pancone, Ed (Connie) Keller, Steve (Debbie) Keller, Michelle (Eric) Dacus, Kari (Randy) Stevenson, Krista (Rikk) McAlerney, Brandon (Summer) Keller, Matthew Tomkinson and Corey Tomkinson; eighteen great grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, brother, Claude Cupp, sisters, Virgie Hopson and Madge Blevins and a grandson Brent Keller.
