Edith is the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Hanna Olson/Christensen. Peter and "Hanna" were from Denmark and arrived here in 1904. Edith had one other sibling to our knowledge and that was a sister called Ellen. Edith and John Frank Elenz were married on 14 July 1948 in Chicago, Cook Co. IL. As far as we know there were no children born to this marriage.
Edith's sister Ellen was older than she was but both girls were born in Chicago, Cook Co.IL. Ellen b. 1911 died in 1928 in Chicago, Cook Co. IL. Death Records from Family Search.org have her buried somewhere on Grange Park Blvd. Chicago, Cook Co. IL but I do not think that is right and my husband states that there is not a Grange Park Blvd in the Chicago area that he knows of.
