The funeral of Mr. C.L. Schaaf, one of our oldest and most respected citizens, occurred last Thursday. In spite of the heavy rain the number attending was so large that the church was crowded to the utmost. Relatives from a distance who attended were Mr. Peter Breitweiser and wife from Delhi and Mr. Louis Schaaf Jr. from South Dakota.
