First marriage to Justin Guernsey in 1857 in Steuben ,Indiana. Justin and Catherine had two children, John and George. When they boys were very little, Justin was killed by a falling tree. In 1866 Catherine married again, this time to Charles P Boyce. They had 7 children together.
