Macon, GA- David Nathan "Smokey" Allen, 65, went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, November 5, 2012 in the chapel at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with the Reverends Ricky Allen, Drew Stockstill and Peter Gibson officiating . Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 to 5:00 on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the funeral home. The family requests, to those who wish, memorial contributions are made to: American Cancer Society , 804 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
Mr. Allen was born in Macon to the late Eldora Cook Allen and James Sidney Allen. He was retired from Armstrong World Industries, where he worked as an Accountant. He was a master fisherman, avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan and enjoyed playing in the Snooker Pool League. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his sister; Eleanor Allen Stockstill.
