Grace Ann Nygaard
1933-2012
Oakley, UT-A gentle lady entered peacefully into the rest of our Father in Heaven the 2nd day of November, 2012. Grace Ann Lawrence Nygaard was born in Salt Lake City on February 22, 1933 to Richard Sterling and Thelma McKenzie Lawrence. She devoted her life to serving her family and any other person in need whether she knew them or not. She lived as Jesus Christ wanted His children to live. She was a kind and gentle wife, sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Grace Ann married Henry Nygaard in the Salt Lake Temple on June 12, 1958. Four daughters were born of this marriage. Jane Davis (Mark), Ann Beckstead (David), Gretchen Durham (Mark) and Julie Johnson (Martin).
She is survived by her loving husband, daughters, brother W. Mack Lawrence, sister Shirley Lundgren, 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children.
There will be a viewing at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary (4670 South Highland Drive) on Tuesday November 6, 2012 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 12 noon with a viewing from 10-11:30am at the Oakley 2nd Ward Building (SR 32) Highway 189 in Marion, Utah. Interment will be at the Springville Cemetery.
