The funeral service for Mr. Burt H. Lamberton, who died Monday, Dec 5, in a Prince Albert Hospital, was conducted at 2:30, Thursday afternoon, Dec 8, at Lytle's funeral home, with Rev. F. C. Bayes of the United Church in charge. Pallbearers were F. F. Easter, George Worrall, Bill Hutchison, and Harry Thompson. Interment being made in the family plot, Davidson Cemetery.
Burt Lamberton was born in Langford, South Dakota, Sept. 3, 1890 and was married to Jessie M. Dunn, Jan. 23, 1911 at Hanley, Sask. They lived in the Davidson district for a number of years moving to Big River in 1933, where he farmed until the time he took ill and was taken to Prince Albert Hospital.
He is survived by his wife at Big River, his mother, Mrs. M. E. Lamberton of Davidson, and one sister, Hazel Warren at Dryden, Ont. His father predeceased him in Jan. 18, 1923, also one brother and two sisters.
Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mrs. Burt Lamberton and Mrs.Ed Lamberton from Big River, Mrs. B. Peek and son also Mr. and Mrs. J. Ziegler fron Hanley
