Daughter of Charles and Virginia Springer Gearns. She grew up on the south side of Indianapolis where she attended St. Catherine of Sienna Church and School. She graduate from St. Mary Academy in 1960 and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette in 1964.
She married Daniel Cunningham on August 20, 1966. They were the parents of Maureen, Karyn and Michelle.
She was a valued employee of St. Francis Hospital of Beech Grove for 41 years.
She is deeply missed by her husband, children and her St. Catherine family.
