Marv greatly enjoyed woodworking. He made many Intarsia (intricate wood design) pieces. He loved gardening, fishing and riding his moped. Most of all he loved his family.
Survivors include his children, Beverly(friend Roger Puls) Uttech of Fond du Lac, Robin (Kathy) Hoddel of St. Peters, and Paul (Bonnie) Hoddel of Waupun; 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Marv in also survived by a sister-in-law Charlotte (Dennis) Juliar of Seymour, a brother-in-law Fay (Lori) James of Fond du Lac, other relatives and near and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Winifred, his parents, Edward and Margaret Hoddel, brother Ervin, sister, Irene Lungwitz, brother-in-law, William Lungwitz, sister-in-law, Marion Hoddel and 2 grandchildren, Matthew Hoddel and Rachel Hoddel.
