Funeral Rites For Mrs. Johnson Scheduled Friday
Funeral services are scheduled Friday for Mrs. Carrie Johnson, 69, who died early Wednesday morning at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.
Born Oct. 18, 1888 in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Wesley Boutwell, she was married to Ed Johnson of Pine River Dec. 18, 1908. The couple lived at Hawkins until five years ago when they moved to the home of their son, Russell S. Johnson, Eldorado.
Survivors beside her son are her husband; one brother, Oscar Boutwell, Waupaca; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Port and Mrs. Melba Sturges, both of California; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Pine River Congregational Church the Rev. Barry Shaw officiating. Burial will be in the Pine River Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hempel Funeral Home, Poy Sipi, after 6 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday, and thereafter at the church until the hour of service.
