ZIEGLER, MRS. ALMA F. Mrs. Alma F. Ziegler died November 1, 2012 at the age of 97. She was a 1935 graduate of Freed-Hardeman College in Henderson, TN and taught school in rural western Tennessee until her marriage to the late Sam Ziegler in 1941. She is survived by her son, Joe Ziegler and his wife, Jane of Birmingham; daughter, Janie Ziegler and her husband, Charles Anderson of Durham, NC; granddaughter, Jennifer Settle and husband Scott and her great granddaughters, Caroline and Samantha Settle, all of Birmingham. Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, Nov. 5th at Forest Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cathedral Church of the Advent, Seniors Ministries; the Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
